Planning and project management
Disarect has developed a unique process for scheduling and integration of the supplementary services that are essential to efficient completion and operation of your new premises. When all the details are confirmed and the paperwork is complete the Disarect team sets the detailed procedure in place:
- Full completion of plans and specifications
- Submission to local government authorities for approval
- Ordering of materials and services
- Scheduling of contractors and suppliers
- Start date and finishing date agreed
Throughout the contract the Disarect team provides constant feedback and liaison to ensure that any changes are documented and advised to all parties.
Data Cabling and Services |
| Internet connections, telecom facilities, broadband
facilities and security are a critical part of your
office facilities. The linkage of computers, selection
of your server location, and office layout/security
are all considered by your Disarect consultant in
consultation with your IT personnel. |
Electrics |
| Disarect works closely with fully experienced electrical
contractors to ensure that appropriate plans and
specifications are prepared for approval. |
Lighting |
| For the efficiency of your team, Disarect likes to discuss lighting as part of the overall plan. Correct ambience provides the subtle effects so important for a happy and successful team environment. Low voltage lighting is more directly focused to avoid screen glare. |
Floor Treatment |
| Disarect assists with the selection of flooring
to match your colour scheme and identity. We have
experience in the selection, supply and installation
of carpets, tiles, stone, timber flooring and vinyls
and can match your flooring to your decor and office
needs in terms of sound absorption, ease of cleaning
and appearance. |
Ceilings |
| The ceiling in most offices is also used for locating
lighting panels and air conditioning vents. Any
variation in the location and number of these items
is covered in the space planning that we prepare
for you offices. Tiles within a ceiling grid suspended
from the roof or slab are the most popular. |
Door Selection |
| Disarect pays attention to detail and chooses
the way that single doors open to ensure there is
appropriate access and space on either side of the
door to ensure that doors adhere to current codes
with respect to disabled access. In some cases,
we recommend double doors or sliding doors for unusually
shaped office spaces or a set of folding doors to
open up two rooms into one for maximum flexibility.

Door Hardware |
| The selection, matching and installation of door
furniture and locks includes the use of registered
design keys and locks. If card access control is
required for certain areas Disarect's experience
with these new technologies is at your service.

Glass and Window Treatments |
| Whether you choose to control the amount of light
or vision with slim line Venetians, tinting or glass
treatment, you can rely on the advice of Disarect
to assist in making the right decision. |
Plumbing |
| Most buildings are generally equipped with toilet
and kitchen facilities. However, many offices need
full kitchen facilities for staff meals and meetings.
Disarect has provided the finest kitchens and many
of the modern facilities to ensure that your office
is an attractive venue for staff and visitors. |
Sound Proofing for
comfort and privacy |
| If security and privacy are important in your
office, Disarect can install soundproofing of partitions
and doors. For the boardroom, similar treatment
of the ceiling may be necessary to avoid transfer
of voices and other noises across the ceiling tiles.

Air Conditioning and Climate
Control |
| This is often the responsibility of the building
owner. However, changes to the layout and/or access
points generally requires new outlets or a rebalancing
of the system. Your team needs to be comfortable
for maximum efficiency and performance. For correct
control, Disarect provides highly experienced contractors
to carry out all these specialised tasks. |
Signage - Internal and
External |
| Disarect can arrange signage so that visitors can
clearly see where you are located with distinctive
signage that reflects your organisation’s
image. |
Site Cleaning |
Even before we start, your office is protected
with the necessary covers and carpet protection.
After completion, our project managers and contractors
will ensure that your new premises are left clean
and tidy for immediate occupation and operation.

After-sales Service |
When the project is complete we present you with
a practical completion form as a provisional hand-over
document. Disarect warrants that your new office
is free from defects in workmanship or material
and guarantees this for six months. And of course
we are available on an ongoing basis to discuss
your needs as your organisation changes size and
structure and new layouts are required.
